Creating workplaces, communities and everyday spaces where everyone feels seen, valued and able to be themselves.
Inclusion is often talked about through big things — policies, strategies, accessibility and representation. These are all incredibly important but sometimes feel outside of our control. Belonging is supported by the small moments that happen between us every day.
A smile, an invitation to join in, remembering someone's name, asking what they think, or simply noticing when someone feels left out can send the powerful message that someone is seen, valued and belong here.
Creating belonging doesn't always require a big gesture. Sometimes, it starts with noticing, making space and showing someone that their presence matters.
