Drawing upon her groundbreaking work in authenticity and inclusion Sarah, invites us to critically examine current EDI debates, reflect on their own beliefs about inclusion, and explore how belief can be both polarising and a catalyst for meaningful change.

Together, we’ll unpack group dynamics, polarisation, and how to build empathy across difference - creating safer spaces for honest, constructive dialogue.

Misunderstandings, defensiveness amd “culture war” noise continue to block honest dialogue and meaningful change.

Drawing on recent examples and lived experience, this pragmatic session examines today’s workplace antiracism landscape and focuses on what’s holding us back from talking about race, and what actually helps conversations move forward.

We’ll unpack why race discussions feel stuck, where parts of the EDI movement may have misfired, and how to rebuild clarity and confidence around the real-world race issues organisations still struggle to address.
