OCTOBER 28: changE somEonE’s world

Using lived experience to celebrate our communities, share their stories and build greater understanding.

When we think about making a difference, it's easy to imagine that our contribution needs to be something extraordinary or widely recognised, but some of the most meaningful influences in our lives come from people whose names will never appear in a history book. Through the relationships we build and the opportunities we help create, we can have a lasting impact on somebody else's experience of the world, often without ever knowing just how much our actions meant to them.

As we continue exploring Community & Legacy and Honouring Our Communities, we're reflecting on the influence we can have within the lives of others and how the difference we make to just one person can become part of something much bigger, creating a legacy that continues through the people and communities we help shape.
