NOVEMBER 6: CONVERSATIONS WOMEN HAVE IN PRIVATE

Giving voice to the unspoken, courage to the conversation and power to the stories that deserve to be heard.

Some of the most meaningful conversations happen quietly, between friends, family members or people we trust enough to share the things that matter most. Fertility, pregnancy loss and reproductive choices are deeply personal experiences, and while talking openly can bring comfort and connection, choosing to keep those experiences private is just as important. After all, everyone deserves the freedom to decide which parts of their story they want to share.

Today's Breaking the Silence blog, “The Conversations Women Have in Private,” explores how we can create more understanding and supportive environments without making assumptions about somebody's circumstances or expecting them to explain their personal choices. It's about approaching sensitive conversations with kindness, respecting boundaries and recognising that support doesn't have to depend on disclosure. Because breaking the silence isn't about expecting everyone to speak; it's about making sure they feel safe, respected and supported, whether they choose to share their story or not.
