As the summer holidays begin to draw to a close, many families are starting to prepare for the return of school routines, earlier mornings and the busier rhythm of everyday life. There will be practical things to organise, but before September begins, it can also be valuable to pause and reflect on how your family is feeling. This final weekend is not about creating another list of things to do, it’s an opportunity to notice what your family enjoyed during the summer, what you have learned about one another and which small moments you would like to carry into the new term.

Today’s blog offers a series of gentle questions to help you reflect, reconnect and move towards September with patience and kindness. You don’t need to have every answer before the new term begins, it’s just a moment to listen to one another and remembering that your family will navigate the changes ahead together.
