OCTOBER 23: When connection bEcomEs changE

Using lived experience to celebrate our communities, share their stories and build greater understanding.

Some of the most important changes within society have begun with people simply talking to one another and realising that an experience they thought they were navigating alone was being shared by others. As those individual stories connect, patterns can become clearer and communities can begin to understand not only what is happening, but what might need to change.

That shared understanding can become incredibly powerful, turning individual experiences into something that is harder to overlook and giving communities the collective confidence to challenge what isn’t working. Today, we’re exploring how connection has helped people recognise the possibility of something different and, over time, turn that possibility into meaningful change.
