Matrescence & Parenthood Transition Coach & Facilitator
Tingi is a coach and facilitator who works with professionals navigating major life and identity transitions, with a particular focus on the transition into motherhood. Born and raised in Canada and based in Hong Kong for nearly two decades, she brings a cross-cultural lens to how people experience change in their work, relationships, and sense of self.
After graduating from McGill University, Tingi moved to Hong Kong where her 18 year career has expanded across consulting and tech start-ups to working in senior roles for global technology companies including Google, LinkedIn, and Apple. This background gives her a strong understanding of how identity, expectations, and communication styles shape performance, leadership, and relationships in complex environments.
Her coaching practice centres on matrescence, the process of becoming a mother and the profound physiological, psychological, sociological, and philosophical shifts it brings. These changes reshape a woman’s identity, priorities, and capacity. Tingi supports mothers to make sense of this transition and rebuild confidence, structure, and direction in both their personal and professional lives.
As a certified Bringing Baby Home Educator, a research-based program developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, Tingi also supports couples in strengthening their emotional connection during the transition to parenthood. Through this work, she supports couples in strengthening communication and emotional connection during early parenthood, helping them navigate conflict more consciously and stay aligned as partners and as parents.
Tingi’s coaching approach is practical, evidence-informed, and human, designed to help people move forward with confidence through transitions that matter to both individuals and organizations.
