Sophie Coulthard is a facilitator, leadership developer and founder specialising in workplace wellbeing and values-based development.
She speaks, consults and facilitates workshops for organisations wanting to build genuinely people-centred cultures, working with leaders and teams to understand what drives performance, engagement and wellbeing from the inside out.
Sophie is the founder of AxioGrow, an online assessment and wellbeing platform grounded in axiology (axio meaning to value). She is also a board member of the Robert S. Hartman Institute, where she continues to develop her thinking on axiology and brings it directly into her client work. Rather than treating this as an abstract theory, Sophie's focus is on making it practical: giving people a framework they can actually use, both at work and in life, to get clearer on what they value, recognise what others value, and understand themselves and each other better as a result.
Sophie is passionate about delivering practical, applicable workshops where people leave with something tangible and memorable - many past attendees still refer back to her (only half-jokingly trademarked) "wedding cake" exercise.
She works with companies to develop tailored leadership programmes, which can include delivery of the ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management. On the wellbeing side, she delivers the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Wellbeing as part of a one-day workshop, helping organisations move past generic wellbeing initiatives towards something more specific to their people - supporting individuals to understand their own strengths and potential, and helping leaders build teams and cultures around genuinely seeing the people in front of them.
Sophie's straplines sum up the approach well: understand your people, uncover their potential, and support them to thrive - because developing people well is, ultimately, developing people for good.
