Jason Miles Summers is an award-winning Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) consultant with more than 15 years’ experience across the private sector, including nearly a decade in the construction industry.
Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, his approach is respectful, non-judgemental, and grounded. Rather than focusing on ideology, his work centres on behaviours, systems and outcomes, helping organisations translate complex DEI concepts into practical steps that improve culture, wellbeing and organisational performance.
Jason’s career spans Quality, Compliance, Health & Safety, Learning & Development, HR and Inclusion. This breadth of experience gives him a strong understanding of how people, culture and inclusion underpin both organisational health and commercial success. Having worked with diverse stakeholders across a range of workplace environments, he brings practical insight to the barriers that can prevent individuals and teams from thriving.
Through training, strategic guidance and data-informed insights, Jason supports organisations in exploring psychological safety, equity of opportunity and the systemic barriers that affect workplace inclusion, always with intersectionality and wellbeing in mind.
His work includes delivering engaging training and workshops, supporting staff networks and C-suite mentoring initiatives, analysing organisational data to produce practical action plans, and speaking at conferences, panels and industry events.
Jason holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language from the University of London (Brunel) and has achieved several professional certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and Project Management.
His goal is simple: to build empathy, humanise the experience of others, and inspire action.
Jason works with organisations that want to create workplaces where every individual feels welcomed, respected, supported, and able to be the best version of themselves at work - because inclusion is not only the right and legal thing to do, but also key to organisational success.
