With a background in Psychology, Leadership, Executive Search, Transformational Coaching and Menstrual Cycle Awareness, Lizzy has a unique insight to the challenges women and menstruators face in the workplace, and the invisible barriers to performance, career development and leadership.
Following a successful career in Executive Search and Leadership, Lizzy set up her coaching and consulting practice because she was frustrated by the lack of understanding of the menstrual cycle in the workplace, and witnessed the detriment this had on women and menstruators' careers, the quality of leadership, and the culture of a business. The demographic of the workforce has changed, and yet it does not understand the experience of the 51%, nor does it make room for their bodies. Authentic and modern leadership requires knowing oneself and greater interpersonal skills – and menstrual cycle awareness is a vital piece for both developing this in menstruators and non-menstruators, and building inclusive, equitable workplaces.
Drawing on her experience, she works with SLT’s, HR, DEI, Wellbeing and team leaders to address performance, engagement, leadership, psychological safety, burnout and overall employee wellbeing related to menstruators and the menstrual cycle.
