Jeremy is the CEO of Ylead, a leadership consultancy he founded in 2020 to create a more data-driven and human-led approach to developing leaders.
He draws upon two decades in the banking industry leading large, diverse and multi-functional teams across the UK and Africa.
His passion for Leadership, Gender Unity and Advocacy, combined with his extensive experience and business acumen help organisations and individuals to lead their people with purpose, compassion, courage and a desire for continuous learning and development.
Jeremy began his career at Barclays in branches and rapidly gained experience and responsibility across strategic, operational, customer-facing and functional roles. Having gained his MBA with Distinction, he progressed into scale-leadership roles & discovered a passion for leading people. For the next 15 years, he led large customer-facing teams in Retail, Business and Premier Banking across the UK and Africa, including 3 years transforming the Barclays (now Absa) Retail Business in Mauritius. After further senior roles in Business Banking, including Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Servicing & Support, Jeremy left Barclays to set up Ylead.
He has since worked with multiple clients across the globe who have benefited from his wide-ranging leadership experience and open, honest and engaging personal style.
He is regularly invited to speak and consult on Inclusive Leadership, Gender Unity and Advocacy with clients from around the world and has delivered programmes for senior leadership groups for large, multi-geographical businesses.
In his spare time, he is an enthusiastic armchair sportsman, slow runner, Chelsea fan and most importantly, father to Phoebe and Toby.
